A single source of truth for fitness data.
I wanted to build a dashboard to track my weekly fitness metrics and goals, but the data was spread across multiple mobile apps.
My goal was to put all the data I cared about in one dashboard, helping me review my past week’s performance and plan my activities for the upcoming one.
The solution I came up with was somewhat over-engineered, but it gave me a good excuse to learn some new tricks for data ELT and automation.
Besides, it produced a useful tool to support my fitness journey which resulted in almost 10KG lost, so I consider it a win!
